Toni Rochelle Cotton was born October 23, 1960 in Chicago, IL to the union of Tommie and Rosie Mae
Cotton, both preceded her in death.
Toni accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized Catholic at Blessed Sacrament Church, Chicago,
IL. She later converted her faith and was re-baptized at Covenant of Peace under Pastor Gregory
Stanton. She then joined Rock of Ages Baptist Church under Pastor Marin E Wiley, Maywood, IL.
Toni was an Inactive member of Church, but her faith was strong. She Praised and Loved the Lord until
the end.
Toni was always known as the “Rich Auntie”!! She availed herself to the needs of her nieces and
nephews.
Toni worked several jobs, but recalling a few, BT Office Products, US Office Products and Siemens until
her health failed.
Toni leaves to mourn: 2 sisters, Alicia and Audrey Cotton. 2 brothers, Percy Cotton and Patrick Hendrix,
Sister/Cousin Daria Reynolds. 1 Great Aunt Geraldine Simon, 1 aunt Barbara Bell, 1 uncle Kenneth
Cotton (Willeva), all of Chicago, IL. Toni had no children of her own, but she leaves G. Cotton (her dog),
her nieces and nephews. Shanice Morgan (Rahsheed), Alicia Thomas, Ian Gilliam (Rashida), Amber
Gilliam, Ida Cage, Deanna, Dion and Star Hendrix, Zaria, Zakari and Zaire Reynolds. One special
Friend/Sister Joyce Byas, brother in-law Donnie Gilliam and her special friends Jenelle Hendrix and Eloise
Gilliam. A host of Family and Friends.
