Obituary for Sherlene Henard

Sherlene “Grandbaby” Henard was born on April 17, 1966 to the union of Troy
and Shirley Brown. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and rededicated her
life at International Deliverance Outreach Ministries under the leadership of
Apostle Linda C. Shearrill. Sherlene attended Thomas Chalmers Elementary
School. She also attended George Collins High School, where she participated in
track and field.
Sherlene always kept a smile on her face, especially when she was around her
grandchildren. Whenever she was around her family, she would let you know how
much she loved you. She loved to attend family functions, where she would be the
life of the party. She could sit on the phone with you and talk for hours about any
and everything. Half of the time, you had to force her to end the conversation (lol).
Sherlene was the oldest of six children: Willie Henard, William Henard, Lillie
Henard (Terry), Corey Henard (Jamica) and Martha Henard. Sherlene was a
mother of three: Larosa Henard (Andrew Laflord Tooley), Angela Henard and
Darren Barker Jr. (Darren Barker Sr.).
Sherlene made her transition in life on May 8, 2021 and the world lost a beautiful
human being. Sherlene Henard was loved dearly and will be truly missed.
Sherlene was proceeded in death by her mother, Shirley Brown; brothers Willie
and Corey; sisters Lillie and Martha; nephew Emoney; niece Clara Adams, uncles
Henry Henard and Ben Henard; and Aunt Weena.
She leaves to mourn her memory, her children, her long time special friend Eddie
Wordlaw, Chanel Adams; her fifteen grandchildren: Karisa, Tatyana, Marcus,
Lasaundrea, Tushaunna, Taniyah,Dashawn, Ariyah, Trinity, Darren, Darrin,
Taylor, Davell, Mikelee and Harmony; two close cousins: Edward Henard and
Micheal Campbell: two bestfriends: Charlotte and Debra; two aunts: Mary Alston
Campbell and Evelyn Henard; three uncles: Eugene Henard, Andrew Henard, and
James (Uncle Busta) Henard; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and
