Celebrating the legacy, love and laughter

Rosetta Walters was born October 19,1939 in Memphis to the union of Talmadge Warr and Ruby Mayweather. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry Walters, son Jerry Walters Jr and her aunt/ mother Calantha Perkins.

At a young age Rosetta dedicated her life to Christ. She loved to attended church services on Sundays at Apostolic Faith Church in Chicago.

Rosetta received her formal education In the Chicago public school system. She graduated from Dunbar high school, Rosetta’s passion for knowledge was the language arts. She loved speaking different languages.

Rosetta was known for her tender voice, her words of wisdom and reading zodiac signs she could identify your zodiac sign just from something as simple as a conversation with you. Rosetta’s unconditionally love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and her extended family will live forever. She loved the outdoors trees and nature. She also wanted to travel the world. Mother’s Day 2020 Alethia(first grandchild) sent her, her mother Shelia and mother her in law Erma to Vegas were she was living her dream. She really loved doing pop ups at her family homes just to spend quality times.

Rosetta will be missed by all that knew her, she leaves to cherish her memories sister Peggy, daughter shelia(Jeff), Valerie, Nathaniel(Kim), Alethia(Jose) Terrence(Terri), Rita, Natasha, Monique, Latonya, Sade, Sharie, Artimesa, Nateisha,Javarres. And a host of great and great great grandchildren and one nephew.
