Life and legacy of Rhonda Lynn Rhodes

Rhonda was born January 29th, 1959, in Chicago Illinois. Rhonda was the youngest child of five children born to the late Mrs. Farrie Lee and Mr. James E. Rhodes.

Rhonda accepted Christ in her life at an very early age and joined the Christ Tabenacle M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Milton L. Brunson, where she sang in the youth choir.

Rhonda attended various schools and graduated from Harrison High School. Rhonda also went on to attend and graduated from Cosmetology School. Rhonda was employed at the Circuit Court of Cook County in the Division of Child Support and the Department of Domestic Relations until she became ill and was retired from lead Secretary in 2004.

Rhonda's journey of motherhood began when on February 6,1976, she gave birth to her first born son Carl. And as life went on Rhonda also gave birth to her second son Terrance on June 22, 1979. In September, 1991, Rhonda married the love of her life, Robert L. Williams and to this union, one child was born Jazmane.

Rhonda enjoyed all that life had to offer especially motherhood, and spending time with her family and friends.

On Friday, December 10, 2021 at 9:40pm, Rhonda Lynn Rhodes made her transition to the Lord from her home in the presence of family members.

Rhonda will be eternally loved and missed by her three children., Carl (Kimberly) Terrance and daughter Jazmane. Her four sibilings - Michelle, Giovonna, Rodney and Ricko. Her seven grandchildren, Gregory, Terrance Jr., Isaiah., Tyrianna, Camyah, Alexandria and Santanna. The family would like to acknowledge Rhonda' extented family member, her best friend of over fifty plus years Mrs. Doreen Hall. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
