Patrick McCann Sr. was born on 04/13/1976 in Chicago, IL to Dorothy McCann
and the late Edward Clark Sr.
Patrick attended Ryerson Elementary School and graduated from Lucy Flower
High School, where he found the love for basketball and became a ladies’ man. He
loved to eat, crack jokes, watch sports, and stalk his sister Dekisha’s Facebook
page to tell their mom what she was doing.
Patrick worked at Midwest Packaging & Container for the last five years as a
forklift driver. He loved to give his co-workers orders of what to do, while he sat
on the forklift and talked on the phone.
On Friday December 17 th Patrick departed this life. He is preceded in death by his
father Edward Sr. and brother Bernard Wilburn.
He leaves to cherish his memories: loving mother Dorothy McCann and
stepfather Clyde Jackson of Chicago, IL. His wife Linda Coleman of Rockford, IL,
five sisters Dekisha, LaSharn, Venishia (Serigne), Velicia, and Renee all of Chicago,
IL, four brothers Keathon of Evansville IN, Cameron, Edward Jr. and Johntu of
Rockford, IL. His seven children Patrick Jr. of Chicago, IL., Catrina of Rockford, IL,
Shonarrow and Tanarrow of Monroe, LA, Kirsten, Kristen, and Kolby of Rockford,
IL. One stepdaughter Keyana (Gerald) of Rockford, IL, four granddaughters
Da’Niyah, Naomi, Syklar Seaberry, and Skylar McCann, two step grandsons Kelin
and Kyree, two nieces LaShawnda and Layla, nephew Keathon Jr., one great-
nephaw Isaiah, and one great niece Lamayia. His best friends Vashon Jordan,
Timothy Collins, Terry Green, Ned Smith, and Clifton Lashley and a host of aunts,
uncles and cousins.
