Michael A. Watkins Sr. Was November 18th, 1958 to the parents of Louie C. James and Tommie Watkins jr.
Michael gained his wings on January 10th, 2023.
Michael was the coolest, laid back man to grace anyone's presence. He stayed dapper and his creases will cut you like knife. You could never catch him out of style. Michael was fly from head to toe, even his car was clean as a whistle. Mike loved to grab some gator and a suit to match and catch a concert with his love ones. (It was really for Val)
When Michael walked into a room there was a since if calm, he handled all things with class. He never raised his voice unless it was in love.
Michael was lovingly known as Big Mike and Uncle Mike to the little ones. Mike was someone you could count on in your time of need. Mike continued the tradition of visiting "Mamanik" daily after the passing of his true love Valerie. He was headstrong but loving and consistent with his love.
Michael was preceded in his death by his loving wife Valerie Shavers, his parents Louie C James and Tommie Watkins jr.
His 3 brothers Larry M. James Sr., Andrew James and Henry E. James Sr.
He leaves to cherish his 3 beautiful children Michael A Watkins jr., Adrian Shavers, and Deidra Shavers. 13 grand children and 4 great grandchildren.
4 sisters Evelyn James, Debra (Willie) Sargent, Linda Watkins and Marine (Vincent) English and 2 brothers Gregory Watkins and Dale Watkins Sr. 1 aunt Maxine Ware and a host of neices and nephews.
