Kevin Taylor BKA “Mike Jones “was born on May 20,1978 in Chicago, IL to Mary Taylor and Robert Brantley. Kevin was truly TaylorMade. He was the first born and only son. Kevin was a jack of all trades. He was very good with his hands and was known as the handyman to his family, especially his mom.

Kevin loved all sports, but his first love was football. He was a coach for the Dolton Bears for over 15 years. Everyone that knew Kevin, knew he was a die hard Chicago Sports Fan. He loved the Chicago Cubs, especially the Chicago Bears. Kevin loved to travel and he was a member of “Our Traveling Family”.

Kevin was always the life of the party. He had an amazing smile, personality and sense of humor. He loved to laugh and argue about anything, especially sports. Once Kevin turned into Mike Jones, his alter ego, he was a dancing machine. In his adult life he made great connections and friendships as the manager of LaVue Bar & Grill. In the bar scene, he made and had a long lasting impression on everyone he met.

If you knew Kevin, you knew he loved hard, especially his family and friends. He was known for having a heart of gold and was cherished and loved by everyone he met. Kevin bka Mike Jones brought joy in everyone's life and will be missed everyday.

“Life is but a passageway…” On Tuesday afternoon, December 22, 2020, while in his home in Chicago, IL Kevin Taylor departed this earthly life surrounded by his fiancée Caleah, mother and kids. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Odether Taylor and Grandmother Elizabeth Brantley.

Kevin leaves to cherish and honor his memory, his six pack; four sons: Kevin (KT), Azavier, Kamaree, and Kendall, two daughters: Gwen and Kealyn, his fiancée Caleah, his beloved mother Mary Taylor, his father, one sister Nicholett (Dimitri), grandmother Veroy Taylor, host of aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
