My Brother Left Me - Without Warning
You left me without warning. Not even a goodbye and I can’t seem to
stop asking the question why? I didn’t see this coming. It hit me by
surprise, and when you left for heaven a small part of me died. Your
smile could brighten anyone’s day. No matter what they were going
through and everyday for the rest of my life....I’ll be missing you! ~
Gail
A Message to my Father~
How do I move forward? Press on? I am still that little girl that loved
and adored her Daddy. The little girl that loved spending her summers in
Mississippi just to be with you. The little girl that loved playing
basketball with her daddy. But now I know, it’ll always be that little girl
at heart. Because today My heart scattered into a million pieces. Today is
the day the possibility of my Daddy returning back to me...... the
dream, that prayer, that hope..... slipped away. My knight and shining
armor..... is gone. I am grateful I told you every time I saw you.,... Hey
Dude, I still LOVE You! You’ll always just look and smile...... but I
knew that was you way of confirming your love for me. For that I am
grateful..... Rest Easy Dad......... I’ll see you again. Love you then,
now and forever - Your Daughter Antisha Latrice Brown
