Felton Ward was born in Dundee, Mississippi on April 19, 1947, to Johnny Ward & Lavelle Conway Ward.
Felton was educated in the Mississippi school system where he graduated from Rosa Fort High School. Felton served one tour in the U.S. Army in the medical division. Felton lived his life HIS way. When he felt good, he wanted everyone around him to feel good too. He was a natural comedian without trying and was typically the life of the party. He loved his family so much that he thought going to Mississippi was a vacation. With hundreds of cousins who were all more like siblings born and raised together, there were always countless stories told at family gatherings. Felton loved his guys. He retired from UPS after 30 years of employment.
UPS birthed lifelong relationships with men who enjoyed being together, playing cards and talking trash.
Felton gained his wings on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Felton was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Oceola and Rosie and two brothers, Billy and Charlie. Felton leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter Patrice (Merlin), his son Kaverin (Mary); one sister Zeola; two granddaughters - Briana & Trelyn; two grandsons – Tyler N. & Tyler A.; along with one niece, and a host of sister-cousins & bother-cousins, family members & friends.
