Edna Mae Lewis was born on August 7th 1937 in Philadelphia Mississippi. She was the oldest daughter born to Arlena Griffin and James Lewis who both preceded her in Death.

Edna attend Mississippi Elementary in her younger years and in 1955 she moved to Chicago, IL where She attended St Andrew’s church. She was a Christian women who devoted her life to helping others and being a beacon to her family.

Edna Mae was the proud mother of 3 sons Alfred who preceded her in death, Donald, and Timothy. Anyone who knew Edna would describe the love for her boys as unconditional and unwavering.

Edna leaves to cherish her memories 5 brothers Robert, Willie C who proceeded her in death, James Jr who proceeded her in death, Richard and Terry. 5 Sisters Maria, Eisse, Lillie B, Johnnie Mae who proceeded her in death,and Mae Francis who proceeded her in death. 3 Son’s Alfred, Timothy, and Donald, From those 3 sons she has 11 Grandchildren Timothy Jr, Vince, Christopher, Rashee, Juan, Paris, Dariell, Donisha, Tammy, Donovan and McKenzie. 18 great grandchildren and a host of uncles cousins nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly.
