Obituary for David Lee Brown

David Lee Brown was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi on March 16, 1958 to the union of Lee Ethel and Robert Brown who preceded him in death. He attended Manley High School where he interacted very well with his peers. David accepted Christ at an early age.

David served his country as an Officer in the United States Army. He was employed at ‘Atlanta Container’ until he accomplished his goal of becoming an Over The Road Truck Driver. David was known for his humorous and caring personality. He was also known for his very blunt personality which contributed to the love that others had for him. He loved old comedy shows, ‘Snapped’ the T.V show, laughing with his loved ones, and working with his nephews.

David made his transition to be with the Lord on October 2, 2020.

He was preceded in death by four brothers: Johnny Tanner, Vernell Walker, Willie Lee Brown, Edward Brown; one sister; Paulette Brown.

David Lee Brown leaves to cherish his memory; his daughter: Maranda Clayton; two grandchildren: Ma’ari Clayton, Davi Clayton; eight siblings: Robert Brown Jr. (Ella), Roosevelt Brown, Eugene Brown, Larry Brown, Percy Brown, Tommie Brown, Patricia Hypolite (Paul), James Brown, his truly special friend Adell Clayton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
